Due to an unexpected hold up with the elementary construction project, the Madrid CSD will need to delay the start of school for grades K-5th to Monday, August 29, 2022.  The District looks forward to having K-5 students return to school and apologizes for any inconvenience this further delay of the start of school presents for families. Preschool will also start on the original start date of Monday, August 29 and the Jr/Sr High start date for grades 6-12 continues to stay as Tuesday, August 23.

On Monday, August 29th from 7:30am to 8:30am, parents are more than welcome to walk their child to their classroom, help them locate their locker, and take a picture. There will be a general open house for all PreK-5th grade students and the community announced later this fall.
