Madrid Community School District Textbook Disposal

The Madrid Community School District will be disposing of old elementary textbooks and guided reading books due to the purchase of new reading curriculum for the 2018 - 2019 school year. On May 23, 2018 notices will be sent home with elementary students that state that if the notice is returned with parent signature, the elementary student may take their classroom reading textbook and/or guided reading books home at no charge on the last day of school, May 30, 2018. All remaining books will be sold on May 30, 2018 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the elementary gym for $1.00 each. After 4:00 pm on May 30, 2018, the school district will dispose of the textbooks in a manner deemed appropriate by the district. Please contact Monica Titus (515) 795-3402 with any questions.

School Board Meeting Time Change

Notice is hereby given of a change in the regular meeting time of the Madrid Community School District Board of Directors. The meeting will begin at 7:30pm on Monday, May 14, 2018. The meeting will be held in the Madrid Administration Building.

2017-18 Online Registration Available

Online registration for the 2017-18 school year is now available. Information is located at To start the process, go to the Schools tab on the home page and scroll down to 17-18 Registration Materials.
