Today (4/17/20), Governor Kim Reynolds announced that schools are to remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Therefore, all Madrid CSD schools, athletics, activities and use of facilities are canceled for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. This includes community 4 year old preschool.
The PK-12 remote learning plan will continue in order to provide student education opportunities for the remaining school year. The school meal (breakfast/lunch) program will continue during the closure. Plans and announcements for topics like the last day of school for the required 9-12, kindergarten roundup, graduation, how to pick up student items at the schools etc., will be developed and shared with time. We appreciate the patience we have been given to fully develop and communicate announcements, plans and actions for items and topics as we develop many of these things from the ground up. We also appreciate all of the support that has been given to the district, the staff and the students. We hope that everyone stays safe and healthy.
