Equipment For Sale

The Madrid Community School District will be accepting sealed bids on the following items: Weight Room Equipment; Chalkboard. For further information and to submit a sealed bid contact: Kelly Williamson, Activities Director @ or 515.795.3240. Deadline is Monday, April 10, 2017 @ 4:00pm. Items not purchased through the bidding process will be donated or disposed of. Choir robes are for sale for $5.00 each until May 10 or gone. Unsold robes will be donated or disposed of after May 10.

District Wellness Plan and Wellness Committee

The Madrid Community School District will be creating a wellness committee to review and update its wellness policy. If you are a parent or community member that would like to be a member of this committee please inform Kris Van Pelt of your interest by calling (515) 795-1400 or emailing It is anticipated that 2 – 3 meetings will take place in April and early May and then, at a minimum, one annually. The deadline to respond will be Monday, March 27, 2017 at 4:00pm.

April 2017 Regular Meeting of the Board of Education

The Madrid Board of Education will be holding their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 5:00pm at the Administration Building. This is a change from the regular meeting date of Monday, April 10, 2017.
