Madrid Monthly: July 2026

Welcome back to another school year! This edition should find you just before the annual “dead week,” so I hope each of you has a chance to slow down and breathe before the fall festivities kick off in earnest in August.

With every new year comes new faces, and this year is no different. Each of our new hires brings a great skill set and unique experiences that will continue to improve Madrid CSD as we strive to make our home a destination district. We will begin social media introductions throughout the month of August. If you see someone new or aren't quite sure who they are, I encourage you to introduce yourself.

I said it last year, and I will say it again: I truly believe the best is yet to come for Madrid Community Schools.

As a Madrid Community School District family, you’ll need to create accounts for several important apps that keep you connected with your child’s education. Below is a list of the apps and platforms used across our District.

This is our student database. You can see your child's class schedule, attendance, assessment results, and grades.

This is our is our communication platform. It’s how we’re able to send emails, alerts, and direct messages to all families, students, and staff in the District. You can set your preferences to receive communications via voice, text, email, or all the above, as well as switch to another language default. Your child’s teachers, coaches, school, and the District will all communicate to you via ParentSquare. ParentSquare is also used for emergency alerts, such as school cancelations and late bus notices.

Madrid Community School District is the official Facebook page of the district. Please follow as all news and notes will be posted here moving forward.

The district is required to provide parents with notices related to specific state and federal mandates, laws, and regulations.
