Junior High Principal/Activities Director

Tiger Families,

As you know, we are in the midst of a leadership transition following Mr. Evans’ departure to Ballard Community Schools. To generate the best possible applicant pool given our tight timeline, we decided to open a combined position for Junior High Principal and Activities Director. I am happy to report that we received strong interest in the posting and will be interviewing finalists tomorrow, July 1st.

Once the hiring process is complete, our secondary building leadership will be structured as follows:

Jason Gabel	Superintendent + High School Principal
New Hire	Junior High Principal + Activities Director

The district feels this is an excellent opportunity to provide dedicated, focused support to our middle school learners and families, as it represents a key building transition in our district. We are confident this change will allow for a more seamless transition from 5th grade and better prepare our students for the academic and social demands of high school.

In my role, I will work closely with this new individual. We will support one another to ensure a smooth transition and guarantee that high-quality service and leadership remain uninterrupted for every family in our district.
